Adda Central

Adda is a typically Bengali name for a universal concept. I dream of this world where adda is a way of life - innumerable cups of tea (I'll admit an occasional coffee), sparkling conversation - often heated and passionate, but never personal, unlimited time and an implicit assumption that money, security, stress and other problems are all irrelevant and small compared to the supremacy of the adda.

That begs the question - does substance suffer when the prime objective is entertainment. Can I allow opinions to take precedence or does everything need to be defensible? Coffe Table conversation is great fun, with no demands - certainly not intellectual rigour. OK, Lets at least insist on veracity or defensibility (is there such a word - can we allow this!!)
