Mumbai blasts

this is the worst attack India has seen so far, reminded me of the operation blue star, though there was no time to prepare for this one.

The response was great, but why are the police so ill equipped (from a tv audience viewpoint) despite the heightened frequency of attacks in this year?

They did not even have enough life jackets, their necks were visible, their helmets loose. This is terrible. It took a Titanic to ensure enough life boats on any ship. Let us learn from this one.

Hotels had no stretchers - people injured were being transported in luggage trolleys, lifted by their limbs.

this is war. Unacceptable, unnecessary. What did it achieve? What can it achieve?
Could this have been avoided?
Let this never happen again.

I commend the spirit of mumbai! It will show its spirit. Buses, trains running - Mumbai will show its resilience.
